Shoreline Partners is more than just a name. This all started having the dream of founding a truly independent fiduciary wealth management firm. But first came the name. Shoreline Partners was chosen not out of a catchy cliché but out of symbolic meaning. Growing up on the Gulf Coast, our founder spent many summers working as a life guard on the beaches of Panama City. It was there that he noticed how the shoreline would always shift after a storm or rough seas. He also was intrigued by the landscape surrounding the beach paying special attention to the sea oat. Looking back, he noticed the shoreline will always change but the sea oat will protect the shoreline from full erosion.
When reflecting on this experience, he chose the name deliberately to became symbolic of the principals by which we work. Our clients are our partners, their wealth is the shoreline and while the shoreline will shift, we serve as the sea oat to protect that wealth from erosion.
We partner with our clients to not only design portfolios, but also to serve as a barrier of protection. We believe in a disciplined and conscious approach to financial planning investing. Over the long-term as circumstances change and the shoreline shifts, we are there to protect them, our partners, the same as the sea out protects the beach.
Our partners (“clients”) come from all walks of life. They are business owners and entrepreneurs, public servants and professionals across many industries and professions. The single factor that unites them? An appreciation for living intentionally and investing with reason.
They focus on the future, always considering the bigger picture when making financial decisions. Because their assets have a purpose, they invest wisely and seek independent counsel from wealth management professionals to guide them in a proactive and supportive manner. They appreciate the value of having a long-term relationship with a trusted advisor to address their needs and those of their family. As such, we engage in a detailed and ongoing discovery process to help ensure new and existing clients are a good fit for us and we are the proper fit for them.
